Ammonium thiosulfate (ATS) is a liquid sulfur-containing fertilizer. In the Kalundborg industrial symbiosis, sulfur recovered from the desulphurization process at Kalundborg Refinery is converted into ammonium thiosulfate, which is used as a high-efficiency fertilizer and sold to fertilizer producers.
