Thai chemical giant Indorama Ventures Plc (IVL) has finalized its full acquisition of Brazil-based Oxiteno S.A. Indústria e Comércio, effective April 1, 2022, following regulatory approval from Brazil's Administrative Council for Economic Defense, with the deal initially announced in August 2021. This strategic move not only extends IVL's growth footprint into Latin America and the United States but also positions it as a leading surfactant producer in the Americas, with clear potential for further expansion into Europe and Asia.
