AVISTA Green ApS operates a high-capacity waste-oil re-refinery in Kalundborg. The plant re-refines used lubricating oil collected from automotive workshops, industrial companies, marine operations and waste recovery sites into high-quality base oil for reuse in the production of new lubricants. The refinery has a production capacity of approximately 130,000 tonnes per year and uses solvent extraction and solvent recovery processes.
